File Name: Kelowna_ForestFire.JPG Caption: The Okanagan Park Fire burns down the mountain side to the edges of Okanagan Lake and towards the house lights in the southern suburbs of the city of Kelowna early August 22nd 2003. The fire jumped the fire guard and 7000 people were evacuated in about 2 hours. It's estimated that 20 to 60 homes were lost in the fire last night.
